Who this training is for:

Breathwork for Regulation & Performance is designed for organisations, teams and individual professionals who work in demanding environments and want practical tools to reduce stress, improve focus and build sustainable performance.

This training is relevant for employees and leaders who:

  • experience high levels of pressure, responsibility or workload

  • want concrete techniques to regulate stress and nervous system responses

  • need better recovery between demanding tasks or workdays

  • want to strengthen focus, presence and performance in critical situations

The training is particularly suited for roles where mental clarity, emotional regulation and physiological resilience are essential.

Participants leave with practical breathing tools and a clear understanding of how to apply them directly in their daily work — before, during and after demanding situations.

The training qualifies as continued professional development and focuses on transferable skills relevant to demanding work environments

Who this training is NOT for

This training is not designed as therapy or treatment and is therefore not suitable for individuals who are currently dealing with severe psychological distress or unresolved trauma that requires clinical support.

It is also not a fit for those looking for:

  • a purely theoretical course without practical, embodied training

  • wellness, relaxation or passive stress relief without personal engagement

  • quick fixes or techniques without responsibility for daily application

The training requires active participation and a willingness to engage with both theory and practice in a professional learning environment.

What participants will gain

Participants experience a clearer understanding of how stress and pressure affect the body and nervous system — and how breathing can be used as a practical tool to influence this in real time.

They leave with concrete breathwork practices that help

  • create more calm and stability in the body during stressful situations

  • maintain focus and mental clarity under pressure

  • recover more effectively between demanding tasks or workdays

  • regulate energy levels without pushing or overactivating

  • using breath to create breath to increase energy when needed to perform in peak state

The training supports individual resilience, stress management and performance capacity in demanding work environments.

Participants will leave with a set of simple, evidence-informed breathwork practices that can be applied immediately — both at work and in everyday life — before, during and after challenging situations.

Program overview

Day 1 — Regulation, Stress Reduction & Nervous System Balance

Day 1 is primarily experiential and practice-based, with a short theoretical introduction to create context and understanding.

Participants are introduced to how breathing affects the body and nervous system, with a focus on stress regulation and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Most of the day is spent practicing different breathwork techniques designed to reduce tension, increase calm and support nervous system balance.

Participants are introduced to a set of simple, practical breathing exercises that are tested during the day and can be used immediately. These practices form the foundation for the home practice period between Day 1 and Day 2, allowing participants to integrate the techniques into their daily work and everyday life.

Key focus areas:

  • Basic understanding of breathing, stress and nervous system regulation

  • Breathwork practices for calming the body and reducing stress

  • Activating the parasympathetic nervous system

  • Simple techniques for immediate use and daily practice

Integration period — Applying breathwork in everyday life

Between Day 1 and Day 2, participants work with a small set of simple breathing practices introduced during the training.

The focus during this period is on applying breathwork in real-life situations — at work and in daily routines — to build familiarity, confidence and practical understanding of how breathing affects stress, focus and energy.

Day 2 — Focus, Energy & Performance States

Day 2 builds on the foundation from Day 1 and the integration period in between.

Participants explore how breathwork can be used to influence energy levels, focus and performance states in demanding situations. Through guided practice, they learn how to work with activation and arousal in a controlled way — supporting clarity, presence and performance without tipping into chronic stress.

Key focus areas:

  • Breathwork for focus, clarity and performance

  • Working with energy and activation in a controlled way

  • Creating performance states without overactivation

  • Applying breathwork before, during and after demanding situations

About the facilitator

The training is facilitated by Anders Lorentz, founder of Lifeforce Garden and an experienced breathwork facilitator working with individuals, groups and organisations.

Before working full-time with breathwork and embodied practices, Anders spent more than 10 years in the two largest corporate companies in Denmark; Maersk and Novo Nordisk. This background gives him a deep understanding of professional demands, performance pressure and the realities of modern work life.

Over the years, Anders has facilitated breathwork sessions and trainings for hundreds of participants, gaining extensive experience in holding structured, safe and professional learning environments.

Today, his work focuses on practical, experience-based breathwork with a clear emphasis on nervous system regulation, stress reduction and sustainable performance.

The training combines simple physiological understanding with hands-on practice in a grounded, professional learning environment.

It is not therapy or treatment - its about how can you perform in your daily life - at work and at home.
